The title refers the Jerusalem’s biblical name “Sion”. In the video “Projec-Sion”, the artist shares her diffracted impression of her arrival in Israel – a blend of strong and contrasted feelings. At first taken into the milieu of these newly arrived citizens known as the “Olim”, her work harks back to their interwoven destinies.
Whatever the initial reason for this immigration, be it for religious, political or economic reasons, in retreat from anti-Semitism in their home country, or to grow old and die in Israel, for the artist, the Aliyah vehicles a form of ineffable transcendence.

Dans la vidéo « Projec-Sion », l’artiste nous fait partager son impression diffractée de son arrivée en Israël, un mélange de sentiments forts et contrastés.
Prise au milieu de ceux qu’on nomme les « Olim », son œuvre renvoie à ces destins croisés de ceux qui ont choisi l’Allyah. Or quelle que soit la raison première de cette immigration, que ce soit pour des motivations religieuses, politiques ou économiques, pour fuir l’antisémitisme de leur pays d’origine, ou encore pour vieillir et y mourir, elle véhicule pour l’artiste une forme de transcendance indicible.
