A photographic series in which the artist uses shots of abandoned or deserted places into which she inserts the silhouette of her own miniature double. From black and white (inside the place) to color (of the outside world), the character seeks to move from shadow to light, from inner darkness to the colorful hustle and bustle of life.

These abandoned spaces provide the perfect setting to express the nuances of loneliness and depression experienced during the lockdown period. The striking contrasts between deep shadows and harsh light highlight the duality of the human experience: both vulnerable and resilient in the face of the torments of prolonged isolation.

Through these images, the artist offers a poignant testimony to the human condition, sensitively evoking inner torment and the search for meaning in a world marked by uncertainty and desolation. Furthermore, the artist suggests, through this play of chiaroscuro and the positioning of his double, a possible post-COVID rebirth.
