In this photographic series, the artist composes each image from shots of shopping carts taken during trips to the four corners of the world.
Attracted by these metallic entanglements, often abandoned in incongruous places, they symbolize for her the horrors of globalization that are overproduction and overconsumption.
To emphasize the excessive aspect of contemporary consumption, she transforms images using color saturation as one would use a highlighter in a text.

Dans cette série photographique, l’artiste compose chaque image à partir de clichés de caddies pris lors de voyages au quatre coins du monde.
Attirée par ces enchevêtrements métalliques, souvent abandonnés dans des lieux incongrus, ils symbolisent pour elle, les affres de la mondialisation que sont la surproduction et la surconsommation.
Pour insister sur l’aspect excessif de la consommation contemporaine, elle transforme les images utilisant la saturation des couleurs comme on utiliserait un surligneur dans un texte.
